Music to Relax

Music was an important part of cultural and social life performed for entertainment, celebration and spiritual ceremonies. Music is experienced by individuals in a range of social settings ranging from being alone to attending a large concert.

Music therapy is an interpersonal process in which the therapist uses music and all of its facets—physical, emotional, mental, social, aesthetic, and spiritual—to help clients to improve or maintain their health. In some instances, the client's needs are addressed directly through music; in others they are addressed through the relationships that develop between the client and therapist. Music therapy is used with individuals of all ages and with a variety of conditions, including: psychiatric disorders, medical problems, physical handicaps, sensory impairments, developmental disabilities, substance abuse, communication disorders, interpersonal problems, and aging. It is also used to: improve learning, build self-esteem, reduce stress, support physical exercise, and facilitate a host of other health-related activities.

A smile can change lifestyle

A Smile is a facial expression. Among humans, it is customarily an expression denoting

pleasure, happiness, or amusement. It takes a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

A smile costs nothing but gives much. A smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.

Smile to be happy,
Smile for the good things in life

Smile for health
Smile for wealth

Smile for friends

Smile for others

Smile to have fun,
Smile for everyone

A smile is a way
A smile can make a day
A smile comes from within
A smile compensates for a human sin

A simple thing like a smile
Precious moment, just for a while

Will help you go another mile

A smile can change lifestyle

A smile is light and love
A smile is send from above
A smile means night and day
A smile means it's okay

A smile is a sign of joy
A smile is a sign of hope

A smile is a sign of cheer
A smile is a sign of trust

Smile is a medicine, wounds it heal
Anger and hatred no more in the deal
Smile spreads love- it’s a treasure
Smile- give and take without measure

Smile can be short, smile can be long,
We can smile loud, nothing is wrong! !
Smile, it improves your face value
Smile is a gift by God, given to you! ! !

Smile is priceless- no matter where,
Smile can easily vanish you fear…
Smile…. it actually costs nothing,
So, you can smile for anything

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.

Child Labor

In some industries children are forced to do repetitive and tedious work like weaving carpets, assembling boxes, polishing shoes, cleaning and arranging a shops goods. It is seen that children are found working more in the informal sectors compared to factories and commercial registered organizations. Little children are often seen selling in the streets or working quietly on domestic chores within the high walls of homes – hidden away from the eyes of the media and labor inspectors.

Hopeful eyes, pretty smile
Soft hands, million dreams
Isn't the identity of a child?
Then why do I see
Drowsy eyes, timid smile
Rough hands and shattered dreams

Deprived of their childhood
Crumpled by the workload
Burdened with responsibility
In such a small age
If they lose these wonderful days
Would it come back again?

There is so much to learn
So much to accomplish
Not being given enough chance
Fight for a cause
Raise your voice
Exterminate child labor

Do justice to them
Bring back their smile
Bless the million hearts

Children are not receiving the education and leisure which is important for their growing years, because they are sucked into commercial and laborious activities which is meant for people beyond their years.

Pleasure Time

I remember a hundred lovely lakes, and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir and cedar and poplar trees. The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk, opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets. It has given me blessed release from care and worry and the troubled thinking of our modern day. It has been a return to the primitive and the peaceful. Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and benumbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; the winds will blow their own freshness, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. Leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes - I am happy.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love people, but Nature more.

Have a great pleasure time!

Stress

Modern life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations, and demands. For many people, stress is so common place that it has become a way of life. Stress isn’t always bad. In small doses, it can help you perform under pressure and motivate you to do your best. But when you’re constantly running in emergency mode, your mind and body pay the price.

Stress is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way. Stress can be due to:

  • Major life changes
  • Work
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Financial problems
  • Being too busy
  • Children and family
  • Inability to accept uncertainty
  • Unrealistic expectations

Long-term exposure to stress can lead to serious health problems such as - anxiety disorders, depression, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease, certain gastrointestinal diseases, sleep disturbances, muscle tension, headache, fatigue etc.

It is also known that people under stress have a greater tendency to engage in unhealthy behaviors, such as excessive use or abuse of alcohol and drugs, cigarette smoking, and making poor nutritional choices, than their less-stressed counterparts. These unhealthy behaviors can further increase the severity of symptoms related to stress, often leading to a "vicious cycle" of symptoms and unhealthy behaviors.

You can reduce stress in your life by nurturing yourself, some to the way:

  • Go for a walk.
  • Exercise Regularly such as yoga, meditation, and deep breathing.
  • Spend time in nature.
  • Call a good friend or connect with others.
  • Sweat out tension with a good workout.
  • Write in your journal.
  • Take a long bath.
  • Light scented candles
  • Savor a warm cup of coffee or tea.
  • Play with a pet.
  • Work in your garden.
  • Get a massage.
  • Curl up with a good book.
  • Listen to music.
  • Watch a comedy

Stress is part of life and will always be around. The keys to dealing with stress are appropriate control of stressors and management of our physical (physiological) and mental (psychological) responses. Managing stress is all about taking charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems.

The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

Surviving the Economic Downturn

It is true, we are now being faced with difficult economic times. This means it's even harder to get the attention of your consumer.

In an economic downturn you will see changes in three major areas. They include:

  • Budget Changes
  • Consumer Behavior
  • Market Changes

How will you respond to budget changes?

When it comes to budget changes companies typically pull their advertising and marketing budget. Truth is by doing this and reducing communication you are only affecting short term sales, which in return negatively affects profit. Are you sure this is the course of action

that you want to take? While this may give short-term relief you will risk losing market share once the economy begins to stabilize and recovery begins. Consider learning to be more cost efficient rather than reducing budgets, in the long run it will save you money.

How will consumer behavior change?
We all know that consumer behavior changes during a recession and in return this affects your bottom line. Your audience will spend less and delay major purchases and even trade down to cheaper alternatives. However, not all consumers stop spending. They will in fact alter their habits to better fit their financial situations, but they will never stop spending. They will lean more into cheaper brands and alternatives for the duration of the slow economic times, but if you maintain brand loyalty they will aspire to regain the ability to purchase the stronger brands in the future.

They will continue to listen and watch for your communication to them. Your communication gears them to justify and stimulate a purchase. If you can develop a lower cost solution, this may just be the time to do so to help maintain that relationship through these difficult times. This will keep them loyal and help to cultivate a stronger relationship in the future.

How to find market opportunity during this time?
It's true our market changes. We come head to head with price wars, stronger competition and less money in the market. There are however opportunities as well. Consider that media revenue deflates during a recessions which means this may be the time to make your product or service known without the high media expenditure. Your competitors will be cutting their budget spend therefore reducing activity, perhaps it's time to punch yours up and gain a larger market share. The price may just be right.

Consumers are looking for loyalty not a one-night stand.

Corporate Image

Corporate image is the mental picture that springs up at the mention of a firm's name. This image continually changes with the firm's circumstances, media coverage, performance, pronouncements, etc. It is similar to a firm's reputation or goodwill, it is the public perception of the firm rather than the reflection of its actual state or position. Unlike corporate identity, it can change overnight from positive to negative to neutral or the reverse.

Large firms use various corporate advertising techniques to enhance their image in order to improve their desirability as a supplier, employer, customer, borrower, etc because corporate image is designed to be appealing to the public so that the company can spark an interest among consumers, create share of mind, generate brand equity and thus facilitate product sales.

The Nature of Corporate Image

It is the opinion of consumers, clients, partners and the public about the prestige of the company, quality of its goods and services and even the reputation of heads of the company combines to form the image of a company or brand. Corporate image, describes the manner in which a company, its activities, and its products or services are perceived by outsiders. In today's competitive business climate, many companies actively work to create and communicate a positive image to their customers, shareholders, the financial community, and the general public to achieve one thing, influencing purchase decision, thereby increasing the bottom line of the company.

Building A Corporate Image

To acquire a corporate image, some factors should be taking into account. First is the corporate policy of the company. The policies of a company determines the line of actions the company is likely to take to help it compete in the market space. The company is free to take any decision to make its products and services easy and affordable to every consumer. From this perception, one can deduce that corporate policy comes in to play an important role in the formation of a corporate image.

Just as corporate policy is an important factor, so is corporate cultures, our second factor. Corporate cultures are the norms and values that the company takes up while serving the consumers with their products and services. This aspect of the corporate image is very essential for the company to maintain a high and a world class service to its customers. Their chief motto is the satisfaction of the customers from whom they derive their main income including their profit and the fame of corporate organization.

The third factor is, organizational design which refers to the structure of the company from its management level to its front line staff is also a factor that cannot be left out in building a corporate image. Organizational design also ensures and encompasses the inter-personal relationship among the members of the staff of the company from the top level to the bottom level. It includes the various departments of the company which offer their services to the customers in a united manner.

FEEDBACK
Feedback is essential to the management of corporate image. Business owners and managers need accurate information on how they and their company are perceived if they are to make sound decisions. Ideally, feedback should be continuous. As a practical matter, continuous feedback can be elicited from salespeople, clients, employees, and other local business owners. Based on such input, modifications may be made in the company's communication methods or, if warranted, a formal study of the corporate image may be initiated. In addition to systematically utilizing internal sources, it is prudent to undertake a serious review of the business's reputation (both internally and externally) on a regular basis.

Society's growing expectation that corporations be socially responsible is a factor stimulating the current interest in corporate image. Many of today's consumers consider the environmental and social image of the firms in making their purchasing decisions. Some companies have recognized this reality and reaped tremendous benefits by conducting themselves in socially and environmentally responsible manner.

It takes time, energy and money to create and maintain a positive corporate image. In a corporate world, maintaining a good company image is key.
