A Cup of Tea

Sun rise, Bird flies,
Rays of light open my eyes,
Copper kettle whistles and lay,
Signaling the beginning of the day,
A stream of steaming water,
Milk and cubes of sugar,
Smells the brew,
Make me feel new,
Jerk my head up to see,
A cup of tea,
And sip away….
The start of new day….
A life of bliss – I would say…
Hot and exciting,
Soft and comforting.
Give me the energy,
Refreshes the memory,
Keep me fit and healthy,
The sweet warmth fills the heart,
And also medicates most every part.
At anytime in the day,
Anyone feels sad and blue,
And have no clue,
Sit down and have a cup of tea,
With friends or family!

Recycle

A simple plan,
For man or woman,
Paper, plastic and cans,
Recycle all, if we can,
For neatness and cleanliness,
Virtue next to Godliness,
No one can refuse,
The same can be reuse,
Its individual responsibility and duty,
To maintain their health and beauty,
To stay fresh and green,
Keep the place clean,
People everywhere,
Breathe the same air,
Let’s take care,
To keep the atmosphere fair,
Wonderful land to share,
And admire the beauty of nature!
Nothing more to say,
We have a vital role to play,
Economy and environment benefits,
Its time to stand, not to sit,
We need to set a good example,
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle,
If we put our heads together,
Our Earth will be clean forever!

The Chocolate Experience

Back to school,
Relax and be cool,
With the music light,
Take a small bite,
Of Cadbury chocolate,
And a c
hocolate dips,
With your finger tips,
Close your eyelids,
Two seconds on the lips,
Feels like world flips,
As it melts upon the tongue,
So creamy, soft and sweet
Lick it, chew it,
It dribbles all through the mouth,
Spread it in your body,
It can bring you paradise,
Chocolate’s simple pleasure,
Yummy in taste,
Enjoy it while you can!
Feel to have a moment celebration,
The wonderful sensations,
That’s beyond description,
Snapped right out of a depression,
Fill you with your heart's desire,
The chocolate experience.
Chocolate to express your love,
Which makes you feel above,
Even in a bad mood,
The chocolate is really good.

Hope

Downtime In the life

When there is no way in sight

When nothing seemed good

Even struggling to get food

All over darkness and failures

When the eyes were full of tears

Living every moments in fear

When there’s no one to hear

Everything felt at loss

When all else gave up

A little bit of hope

Surely one can cope

Hope keeps all alive

Hope gives a way to survive

Giving mind ventilation

A source of illumination

Hope is a candle in the night

Hope is the weapon to fight

Hope is the mind to explore

Hope is the future to secure

Hope is the dream of better days

Hope is the beam of light rays

Hope is something to say

Hope is that to find a way

Hope gives a strong long rope

And widely extends the scope

Hope to remain positive

Hope makes us competitive

A hoping soul is a sure winner

Hopeless mind grows thinner

Hope is what the whole world needs

Hope is for the future good deeds

Travel to the place....

Travel to the place

Where mind set to peace,

No one can see,

Feel us free.

Travel to the place

Where we can breathe,

Fills our desire,

We wish; we aspire.

Travel to the place

Where we have silence,

Flower of fragrance,

And nature to admire.

Travel to the place

Where we can write,

Lines of rhyme,

At any time.

Travel to the place

Where we have enough space,

Work without race,

No tension on face.

Travel to the place

Where we can dance,

Sing at glance,

Bit of time to romance.

Travel to the place

Where we spread love,

Freedom to serve

And land to move.

Travel to the place

Where we can live,

Of joy and sprinkle its grace,

And do anything, anywhere.

Life Cycle

Outside there is darkness
in the still of the night
Only the stars and the moon
share their shimmers of light.

Daybreak brings radiance
from the golden bright sun
as a new day of living
has only just begun.

Sun shines, Moon disappear
Journey starts, destiny not near
Work in a day almost,
As we find ourselves lost

Streets become busy
as people head off to places.
Runs and races
Hopes on their faces.

We all need to live
Money to survive
Life slips away
As people no longer around you stay

As quick as it started
it will come to an end.

And once again the clock of life
repeats the same

Wake, work, home, eat, sleep
The cycle repeats

This cycle don’t seem to end
All your life to spend

Rose for Love, Health and Peace

While every flower has a wonderful story to tell, the rose stands alone in its abundant history and color meaning. So much so that we couldn’t resist giving it a little preferential treatment and dedicating a separate space to its rich symbolism.

Used for hundreds of years to convey messages without words, roses have long been a symbol of confidentiality - the Latin expression sub rosa (literally "under the rose") means something told in secret.

The rose has always been valued for its beauty and has a long history of symbolism. Roses are ancient symbols of love and beauty. Regardless of color, their unique beauty and subtle fragrance convey a message guaranteed to elicit delight from the recipient and envy from others. The rose was sacred to a number of goddesses. Also used for decoration.

Traditional Uses of the Rose

The uses of rose contain preparing of cosmetics, perfumes, hand lotions, creams, rose essential oil and rose water. In recent times almost all perfumes and fragrances contain rose oil. Attar of rose is the steam-extracted essential oil from rose flowers that has been used in perfumes for centuries. Rose water, made from the rose oil, is widely used in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The French are known for their rose syrup, most commonly made from an extract of rose petals. In the United States, this French rose syrup is used to make rose scones and marshmallows.

The plant's fleshy edible fruit, which ripens in the late summer through autumn, is called a rose hip. Rose hips are occasionally made into jam, jelly, and marmalade, or are brewed for tea, primarily for their high vitamin C content. They are also pressed and filtered to make rose hip syrup. Rose hips are also used to produce Rose hip seed oil, which is used in skin products and some makeup products.

Apart from these roses are used to make medicines and have soothing effects in mind and body. Rose petal tea can be used to relieve uterine congestion causing pain and heavy periods. It is an excellent remedy for irregular periods and infertility. The oils made out of roses and the essential oils are used in aromatherapy and is said to have mild sedative activity and is used to treat anxiety and depression is also used to treat eye irritations.

Color Symbol

Color is definitely a personal preference. And while the red rose may be the first to come to mind, a rainbow of colors exists. Roses inspired people over thousands of years to develop a language of color. The most popular rose colors with the sentiments they express.

Red - Love, respect

Deep Pink - Gratitude, appreciation

Light Pink - Admiration, sympathy

White - Reverence, humility

Yellow - Sociability, friends, Joy

Change comes for everyone

Change refers to an alteration in the structure or society, ie. a change in the nature, thoughts, character, behaviors or relations of a society. The philosophical idea behind change in structure refers to growth, improvement and development. Change may be driven by cultural, religious, economic, scientific or technological forces etc. Change is a field of practice and research.

Sunrise a day
As moon goes away
24 hours time
Nothing stays the same

Season come and go
Nature changes in a row
It’s seems strange
Of course, it’s change

A boy to man
A girl to woman
Nature or human
Change comes for everyone

Change is continuous
Change is something that
is due
Change is something that will come;
Change is one we must welcome!

Let changes make earth paradise
Let changes foster love of life!
Let changes improve air and soil;
Let changes better lives for all;

Let change in heart, more charity;
Let change in rules afford security;

Let change in nature, more beauty;
Let change in mankind, integrity!

Change is good if life’s better;
Change is key if life’s repair;
Change is great if helps us fare
Change is nice if it’s care

Nothing Wrong
If change for long
Change is part of life;
Change is way for life!

Personal Identity

“Personal Identity” refers self reflection or distinct personality of individual. Identity describes a person’s self image, self esteem and individuality.

Words, eyes, deeds
What actually speaks?
Walk around street
What we preach?

Search for “me”
Search for identity
What way we define
The mere word “I”

Stroke of brilliance
Stand out among millions
Memories of name
Work for fame

Elusive ray of hope
Walk on life's tightrope
Situation tense
Much needed common sense

World of competition
To reach ultimate position
Effort of superiority
To establish the identity

The day, we reach our destiny,
All we made, is our identity
Greed evolved again,
Work now to maintain

Cycle Repeats
Our requirement never meets
All try to look the same
Give themselves a name

Our true Identity is much more complex
Something a mere image doesn’t reflects
Image of our face
Is not what our identity makes

Perhaps we all have a real gift
others spirits to lift

Laugh and joke
Give others – a hope

Work for all your needs
Also give others – good deeds
A better person you will be known
Identity should be your own

A Small Mouse

Great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance and imagination not limited to eyes but then realizing it in its true meaning. A lonely artist wandered from street to street in search of work. But neither luck nor his work fetched him any recognition. As he was passing by a silent street where a church stood in its divine pride blessing everyone and granting them their wishes.

The father of the church beckoned the artist to draw some sketches. An old church as it was, hoards of mice were scurrying in and around. Their excitement, tireless mischief caught his attention. Of all this mischievous bunch of mice, one mouse fascinated the real artist in him. It was like an intelligent bottle imp, making every effort to outwit its group successfully. His imagination stirred in him to draw a sketch of that lively mouse which later on became popular with kids and all.

The mouse none other than our favorite Mickey Mouse and the humble artist none other than Walt Disney! Walt Disney built around Mickey Mouse a world of its own- The Disney Land- a dream land for every child and also for a child in him which stood for innocence, imagination, creativity.

A small mouse marked a turning point in his life to make him live immemorial in every child’s heart for ages to come and go. A humble beginning is all needed to create a great art of appreciation, love. Never lose your heart when all your efforts end in failure.

A humble beginning will be a turning point in your life to spicing it with success, respect and wishes from all. Keep on trying without turning your face away from the truths of life.

A smile can change lifestyle

A Smile is a facial expression. Among humans, it is customarily an expression denoting

pleasure, happiness, or amusement. It takes a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

A smile costs nothing but gives much. A smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.

Smile to be happy,
Smile for the good things in life

Smile for health
Smile for wealth

Smile for friends

Smile for others

Smile to have fun,
Smile for everyone

A smile is a way
A smile can make a day
A smile comes from within
A smile compensates for a human sin

A simple thing like a smile
Precious moment, just for a while

Will help you go another mile

A smile can change lifestyle

A smile is light and love
A smile is send from above
A smile means night and day
A smile means it's okay

A smile is a sign of joy
A smile is a sign of hope

A smile is a sign of cheer
A smile is a sign of trust

Smile is a medicine, wounds it heal
Anger and hatred no more in the deal
Smile spreads love- it’s a treasure
Smile- give and take without measure

Smile can be short, smile can be long,
We can smile loud, nothing is wrong! !
Smile, it improves your face value
Smile is a gift by God, given to you! ! !

Smile is priceless- no matter where,
Smile can easily vanish you fear…
Smile…. it actually costs nothing,
So, you can smile for anything

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.

Child Labor

In some industries children are forced to do repetitive and tedious work like weaving carpets, assembling boxes, polishing shoes, cleaning and arranging a shops goods. It is seen that children are found working more in the informal sectors compared to factories and commercial registered organizations. Little children are often seen selling in the streets or working quietly on domestic chores within the high walls of homes – hidden away from the eyes of the media and labor inspectors.

Hopeful eyes, pretty smile
Soft hands, million dreams
Isn't the identity of a child?
Then why do I see
Drowsy eyes, timid smile
Rough hands and shattered dreams

Deprived of their childhood
Crumpled by the workload
Burdened with responsibility
In such a small age
If they lose these wonderful days
Would it come back again?

There is so much to learn
So much to accomplish
Not being given enough chance
Fight for a cause
Raise your voice
Exterminate child labor

Do justice to them
Bring back their smile
Bless the million hearts

Children are not receiving the education and leisure which is important for their growing years, because they are sucked into commercial and laborious activities which is meant for people beyond their years.

Pleasure Time

I remember a hundred lovely lakes, and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir and cedar and poplar trees. The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk, opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets. It has given me blessed release from care and worry and the troubled thinking of our modern day. It has been a return to the primitive and the peaceful. Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and benumbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; the winds will blow their own freshness, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. Leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes - I am happy.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love people, but Nature more.

Have a great pleasure time!

Stress

Modern life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations, and demands. For many people, stress is so common place that it has become a way of life. Stress isn’t always bad. In small doses, it can help you perform under pressure and motivate you to do your best. But when you’re constantly running in emergency mode, your mind and body pay the price.

Stress is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way. Stress can be due to:

  • Major life changes
  • Work
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Financial problems
  • Being too busy
  • Children and family
  • Inability to accept uncertainty
  • Unrealistic expectations

Long-term exposure to stress can lead to serious health problems such as - anxiety disorders, depression, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease, certain gastrointestinal diseases, sleep disturbances, muscle tension, headache, fatigue etc.

It is also known that people under stress have a greater tendency to engage in unhealthy behaviors, such as excessive use or abuse of alcohol and drugs, cigarette smoking, and making poor nutritional choices, than their less-stressed counterparts. These unhealthy behaviors can further increase the severity of symptoms related to stress, often leading to a "vicious cycle" of symptoms and unhealthy behaviors.

You can reduce stress in your life by nurturing yourself, some to the way:

  • Go for a walk.
  • Exercise Regularly such as yoga, meditation, and deep breathing.
  • Spend time in nature.
  • Call a good friend or connect with others.
  • Sweat out tension with a good workout.
  • Write in your journal.
  • Take a long bath.
  • Light scented candles
  • Savor a warm cup of coffee or tea.
  • Play with a pet.
  • Work in your garden.
  • Get a massage.
  • Curl up with a good book.
  • Listen to music.
  • Watch a comedy

Stress is part of life and will always be around. The keys to dealing with stress are appropriate control of stressors and management of our physical (physiological) and mental (psychological) responses. Managing stress is all about taking charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems.

The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

Surviving the Economic Downturn

It is true, we are now being faced with difficult economic times. This means it's even harder to get the attention of your consumer.

In an economic downturn you will see changes in three major areas. They include:

  • Budget Changes
  • Consumer Behavior
  • Market Changes

How will you respond to budget changes?

When it comes to budget changes companies typically pull their advertising and marketing budget. Truth is by doing this and reducing communication you are only affecting short term sales, which in return negatively affects profit. Are you sure this is the course of action

that you want to take? While this may give short-term relief you will risk losing market share once the economy begins to stabilize and recovery begins. Consider learning to be more cost efficient rather than reducing budgets, in the long run it will save you money.

How will consumer behavior change?
We all know that consumer behavior changes during a recession and in return this affects your bottom line. Your audience will spend less and delay major purchases and even trade down to cheaper alternatives. However, not all consumers stop spending. They will in fact alter their habits to better fit their financial situations, but they will never stop spending. They will lean more into cheaper brands and alternatives for the duration of the slow economic times, but if you maintain brand loyalty they will aspire to regain the ability to purchase the stronger brands in the future.

They will continue to listen and watch for your communication to them. Your communication gears them to justify and stimulate a purchase. If you can develop a lower cost solution, this may just be the time to do so to help maintain that relationship through these difficult times. This will keep them loyal and help to cultivate a stronger relationship in the future.

How to find market opportunity during this time?
It's true our market changes. We come head to head with price wars, stronger competition and less money in the market. There are however opportunities as well. Consider that media revenue deflates during a recessions which means this may be the time to make your product or service known without the high media expenditure. Your competitors will be cutting their budget spend therefore reducing activity, perhaps it's time to punch yours up and gain a larger market share. The price may just be right.

Consumers are looking for loyalty not a one-night stand.
